are currently training rural woman groups
to set up a work in their community, generating
employment for themselves and their peers.
The women's empowerment scheme seeks to
teach mothers and widows practical skills,
so that they can support their family
and keep their family in school. The women
are taught to make local products and
sell for profit.

AKATSI School Block Project No2: |
|
| |
|
To
complete and furnish this uncompleted
school building to ensure children are
save in the classroom during bad weather.
Heavy rains in this area often prevent
children from attending school - the school
structures are often merely a thatched
roof on poles. We anticipate that a robust
school pavilion will provide education
for up to 350 children. |
